Alternative catalogue numbers

	Juke Jules SUBS Tell me he's lazy, tell me he's slow Member since Jan 2011 4138 Points Moderator	I guess that the majority of CDs will have an alternative Cat.No. because the barcode usually shows the stock number, which is a virtual catalogue number Do we think we should be adding these as a general rule?

Whisper this but from looking at 45cat's internal statistics we've found that the vast majority of people don't search by catalogue number, some probably don't even know what a catalogue number is, nor care! I think we're going to look into some kind of barcode reading plug in as it'd be really handy in the future to add things to your collection just by waving them in front of your phone. We'll see how hard this is to implement.
