Notes

Based upon the popular 1980 movie, there were two versions of this sitcom produced.

The first version ran for three seasons aired between the spring of 1982 and the fall of 1983 and was closer in style to the movie, with Rachel Dennison, lookalike sister of Dolly Parton, taking over her sibling's movie role and with original film star Jane Fonda acting as executive producer. The series was cancelled five episodes into its third season after a format change that included the removal of Curtin's lead character.

Three years later, production resumed on a revived series for first-run syndication. Dennison and Curtin returned to their roles and the series was considered a continuation. The revival aired for two additional seasons between 1986 and 1988.
