MR B PAGE 23rd Aug 2017		I remember this series very well,and used to be screened on Wednesday evening at 5:15 p.m before the ITN News at 5:45.This is very good acting from David Jason and this is his very best sitcom and making his solo lead role,and also launched the careers such as Linda Robson [who appeared in 2 episodes in the final series,before Birds of a Feather 8 years later],Richard Wilson appeared in 16 episodes and Alun Armstrong appeared in 13 episodes in this sitcom,and usually play different roles in each episode,and not to mention Arthur White [David Jason`s father] who appeared in 1 episode as Alf from Series 1 Episode 6 in 1978.This comedy series is written and created by Ronnie Taylor,and the cartoons for the opening and closing credits for the sitcom are drawn by Mel Calman
