Notes

Miniseries sequel to the 1985 version of Anne of Green Gables. Produced as a two-part miniseries in Canada that aired as Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel. At the same time a reformatted four-episode version debuted on Disney Channel in the US as Anne of Avonlea. A 1988 PBS broadcast used the original Canadian format.

Followed by the ongoing TV series Road to Avonlea, a further sequel miniseries Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story, and a prequel miniseries, Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning.
