nboldock 15th Feb 2017		*SPOILERS* I wasn't entirely sure what to make of this. The storyline was decent and I broadly enjoyed watching it but I do think there was a lack of character development. Ben Chaplin's Mark Costley was unveiled late on to be something of a nutjob, but we didn't really learn anything about his back story and I thought we needed to. I also thought that there was a big hole in the plot whereby the prosecution didn't believe that Yvonne had been raped by George Selway, yet if she hadn't, what was her motive for having him murdered? It didn't make sense. That said, Emily Watson was brilliant in the role of Yvonne Carmichael, and it's just a shame there were so many loose threads in the plot. Or was it just me? What do others think? Trailer...
