A long running BBCTV game show hosted by Robert Robinson which each week pitted two families against each other in various areas of general knowledge. Apparently it's since been revived twice by the BBC first in 1999 and again in 2005. This entry deals with the original 17 year run.

carey jeggs 25th Jan 2017		Robert Robinson gave me the impression that he was sending it up himself the way he used to make fun of Eric Ilett's cheap animation effects and commenting on what nice middle class names the imaginary characters in the maths problems had. The usual pattern for parents was that Father would be the managing director of a light engineering company and Mother would be a 'teacha' who would refer to children as ch'ldr'n.



zabadak 6th Jun 2015		I used to like this, even though it made me feel like the thick kid at the back of the classroom! Memorably sent up by NT9OC News with the families made up of quantity surveyors (even the kids) :thumbsup:



Monolith 5th Jun 2015		I watched it for the comb-over, it should have had a show of it's own.
