Follows the lives 8 residents (Miss Hoolie - Nursery Teacher, Archie - Inventor, Josie Jump - Fitness Instructor, Edie McCredie - Bus Driver, PC Plum - Policeman, Spencer - Painter/Musician, Suzie Sweet and Penny Pocket Shop and café workers) who live on the fictional small island called Balamory in Scotland. Balamory was filmed mostly in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull with Archie's castle in Fenton Tower in North Berwick. There was 231 episodes.
