Notes

First of two TV series based upon the comic strip. Arthur Lake had previously Dagwood in a series of more than two dozen movies released between 1938 and 1950, as well as on radio. It ran for a single 26-episode season. Preceded by an unbroadcast pilot in 1954 starring Britton but with another actor playing Dagwood. A second series aired in 1968.
