Farrah Fawcett was married to Lee Majors during her time on the series and was credited as Farrah Fawcett-Majors. After leaving the series following its first season, Fawcett was required by her contract to make a number of guest appearances.

Followed by two motion pictures in the 2000s that added a fantasy spin on the concept, with Jaclyn Smith appearing as Kelly in one of the films. Smith is the only Angel to stay with the series for its entire run.

Exists in the same fictional universe as Vega$ and The Love Boat (due to characters from both series appearing on Charlie's Angels), and The San Pedro Beach Bums (due to the Angels appearing on that series). It is a matter of fan debate whether the 2000s motion pictures are part of the TV series continuity. A short-lived remake series aired in 2011.
