Notes

After the 6th series of Hancock's Half Hour in 1960, Tony Hancock wanted Sid James' character removed from the show, a demand that alarmed most. Ray Galton and Alan Simpson created this spin off show for Sid and wrote the first series after which they moved on and were replaced by Sid Green and Dick Hills for the 2nd and 3rd series.

32 episodes were made over three series. The first series exists complete but just two episodes from each of the remaining series were kept... 22 episodes lost.
