This Canadian crime drama ran for 7 seasons. Towards the end of its run a US series called Cold Case debuted. The US show - which, ironically, also aired on the same Canadian network, CTV, that produced Cold Squad - was seen as being similar enough in concept and characters that the producers of Cold Squad considered legal action.
