Sci-fi/crime hybrid about a pair of investigators who use a time machine to rewind time and solve crimes. The later American series Seven Days had the same premise.

According to series creator Anthony Horowitz, the series ended after a single season due to administrative changes at the BBC.

Annett starred in this series just prior to her tenure on Red Dwarf and in fact the final episodes of Crime Traveller and her first episodes of Red Dwarf overlapped schedule.
