Short-lived medical drama with only 7 episodes broadcast of 9 produced. The first three episodes aired in October, after which the series went off the air for November before airing its final episodes in December.

The title refers to the series' locale, a small town called Cutter, and the fact many of the more serious medical cases need to be transported by helicopter to the larger centre of Houston, Texas.
