Notes

Created and Written by Andrew Marshall and David Renwick,and this British comedy sketch show ran for 2 series [14 episodes in total].The first series concerned the lives of Norman and Vera Straightman [Aitken and Coffey],who had their lives interrupted by various TV personalities of the day.The second series was mainly a straight succession of TV parodies of shows at the time,including Larry Grayson`s Generation Game,To The Manor Born and Nationwide.It ran for 2 series by LWT for ITV,and was an attempt at a TV version of The Burkiss Way.Other performers appeared in both series are David Simeon and Dudley Stevens,but Fred Harris was the only permanent cast to appear in End of Part One.One of the directors was a future feature film director Geoffrey Sax.Series 1-Produced by Simon Brett and Series 2-Produced by Humphrey Barclay.The complete series released by Network DVD on the 5th November,2012.All 14 episodes are included.
