Although sharing the same executive producer and some other personnel, this TV series that ran for three seasons had no narrative connection to the long-running Friday the 13th horror film series. There was also a UK TV series of the 1950s with this title.

Promoted in some regions including the UK under the title Friday's Curse. At the time the series began, co-star Louise Robey was only billed under her surname.
