Originally broadcast on the Disney Channel for one season. Followed by a spin-off series, Saved by the Bell, featuring several holdover cast members from Miss Bliss, which aired on NBC Saturday mornings from 1989 and was very successful. That series, in turn, spun off several other series.

In syndication, the episodes that make up Good Morning Miss Bliss have been reedited as episodes of Saved by the Bell, with introductions by Zack Morris indicating they are flashbacks, and the series title Saved by the Bell: The Junior High Years is used.
