Notes

Early Filmation series reimagining the iconic teen detectives as rock musicians. Notable for its limited cast of three voice actors (who performed several different characters, including multiple members of the band). A real-life Hardy Boys group was created as a tie-in a la The Monkees and live-action musical performances by the group were featured in each episode; the band also recorded two albums and had some minor chart success in the U.S. The series ended production after 17 episodes aired, but continued as reruns into 1970; the band outlived the series for a short time.
