Notes

Series is an adaptation of the bestseller by Cynthia McLeod, about slavery in Suriname in the 18th century.
It is the flowering time of the sugar culture and also the period of the slave revolts. Against this decor the life takes place from Elza and Sarith, daughters from a Jewish plant family, and their slaves Mini-Mini and Maisa.
A film has also been made of the series.
