Notes

The original format of the series saw two astronauts travel back in time (in a variant of the formula that would later be used in the Planet of the Apes films) to prehistoric times. Midway through the season, the producers decided to change the series format and so the astronauts returned to the present day, with their cavemen friends in tow.
