The object of the game was for two women to win keys by correctly predicting answers to questions posed to a panel of seven male celebrities. There were seven keys that they would have to choose from, one of which unlocked a car that the winner got to keep.

The game was created by Rick Rosner, the producer for CHiPs, would later go on to revive Hollywood Squares.
Just Men! premiered on NBC January 3, 1983 at noon, up against Family Feud on ABC and The Young and the Restless on CBS (though in New York City and Los Angeles, it aired opposite Tattletales). With that the show only last 65 episodes with the final show airing on April fools day. At the 1983 daytime Emmys, Betty won the award for Outstanding Host or Hostess in a Game or Audience Participation Show, the first woman ever to do so.
