NB. Apart from episode 1, which both companies worked on, the background art was split between Boa '83 and Studio WHO. Boa '83 did the odd numbered episodes, Studio WHO the even. This led to the bizarre situation of 2-part and 3-part stories within the series having different companies providing the background art for each episode.

The series had a sequel in the form of a (direct-to-DVD) OAV called "King Of Bandit Jing In Seventh Heaven".
