Notes

Followed in 1994 by two made-for-TV reunion films. In 2003 a pilot movie for a proposed Young MacGyver prequel spin-off was produced but did not sell.

The series was frequently parodied on Saturday Night Live by way of the sketch MacGruber. A film based on the sketch was released in 2010.

MacGyver's first name was not revealed on screen until near the end of the series' run.
