Notes Following the end of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Moore's first TV project was an attempt at a musical-comedy variety series similar to the recently-ended Carol Burnett Show. The show was a flop, being cancelled after only three episodes (before the 1978-79 season was over, Moore would try for a second series with The Mary Tyler Moore Hour). The series is remembered today primarily for featuring early TV work by Michael Keaton, David Letterman and Swoosie Kurtz.
