Notes

Iconic interview series where celebrities were surprised with reunions with friends and family from their past. Originated on radio in the 1940s. Its format was replicated by many international versions of the show, most notably a long-running UK edition.

The original US run went from 1952 to 1961. This was followed by a short-lived revival in 1971-72 (hosted by the original host, Ralph Edwards) and a short-lived revival in 1983 hosted by Joseph Campanella. Occasional specials have aired since.
