Notes

Preceded by a 1969 made-for-TV anthology movie that featured Steven Spielberg's major directorial debut. After cancellation, the syndicated version of the series incorporated episodes of a short-lived supernatural series called The Sixth Sense, for which Serling recorded new introductions to fit within the Night Gallery format. The series was also reformatted from 60 minutes to 30 minutes for syndication.

Its first season aired as part of the "wheel series" Four in One, alternating with McCloud and other series.
