During the build towards American Civil War two friends one from Northern America and the other one from Southern America struggle to to keep their friendship together as American Civil War looms. The second series was classed as North And South Book II and third series called Heaven & Hell: North & South, Book III Patrick Swayze does not return for the third series but can bee seen in archive footage. There was 3 series with 15 episodes.
