Notes Webseries that started out as a series of fan-made videos incorporating gameplay footage from games such as Halo. Over time, the series developed a continuity and story arcs and began to receive critical acclaim - and some RvB productions have been been officially sanctioned by Microsoft, owners of Halo. Originally produced for YouTube, episodes have since been released to Netflix, DVD, and other venues, and theatrical film versions of the series have also been released. With more than 250 episodes produced since 2003, Red vs. Blue is technically the longest-running SF series in American TV history.
