Notes

Tony Twist and his three children move to an old lighthouse which they soon find out is haunted which ends the family in strange situations. The cast changed many times over the 4 series. There was 4 series with 52 episodes.

Neil Forbes 12th Jul 2015		Producing just 4 series over roughly 12 years means there must've been gaps of a number of years between the making of each series. No wonder, then, that the cast was changed in each(except for Richard Moir's two stints as Tony Twist) Though I'd like to see this series again, it's hardly likely to be re-run as it was shot in the old "Academy"(or 4:3) aspect ratio. The only stuff ABC is prepared to run in that screen ratio is old(ancient, creaky) RKO and Rank movies of the 1930s to 1950s........ Yawn!



Neil Forbes 8th Jul 2015		@Harley Yeah! I thought it might've been her singing the theme! Even though Tamsin West and her co-stars from series one were replaced(though Richard Moir hung around for another series), they kept Tamsin West's performance of the theme song. That was mighty nice of them!



harley 8th Jul 2015		Tamsin West (who played Linda Twist) sang the theme tune. I use to watch it on BBC 1.



Neil Forbes 8th Jul 2015		The boy who replaced Rodney McLennan as Bronson was a near dead-ringer for Rodney McLennan. Actually the producers did well to find new child actors who looked a lot like those who were in Series one. It made for a seamless transition from Series 1 to Series 2.

Neil Forbes 8th Jul 2015		I quite liked this, even though it was mainly aimed at kids(teens, mostly). Had a quirky theme song too. Good for a chuckle!
