Cecil Slinger takes over Norman Tripper supermarket of hopeless supermarket employees. The show changed it's named from Tripper's day to Slinger's Day due to Leonard Rossiter's death Tripper's Day came to a natural end. This is Bruce Forsyth only sitcom. There was 2 series with 12 episodes.
