Made-for-syndication western series that saw a fictional railroad detective cross paths with many of the famous outlaws of the Old West. 39 episodes were produced over a single season. Also syndicated under the title The Fast Guns.

Notable as the first western series to win an Emmy Award, and also as one of the first series of any genre to feature females as detectives, as Matt Clark was assisted on his missions by first Frankie and later Jonesy.
