Fantasy sitcom in the Munsters/Addams Family mould that, like the Munsters, featured a version of Frankenstein's Monster, this time played by veteran western film actor Jack Elam (who went on to play a character spoofing Dr. Van Helsing from Dracula in The Cannonball Run). Elam had the distinction of being one of the few actors cast as the Monster who required little make-up.

Eleven episodes were made but only three aired in the US before cancellation; the complete run aired in the UK, however.
