One of several shot-lived TV series produced in the early 1980s to capitalize on the popularity of 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The series was originally promoted under the title Tales of the Brass Monkey, but it had to be changed when a real-life business with an exotic-adventure theme was discovered. Reportedly, the series inspired the later Disney animated series Talespin.
