Greatest successes - working with Consumer Association to get domestic furnishing fire resistance improved and labelled, likewise Children's nightwear (the 70s bri-nylon just melted, hotly- if wandered too close to the open raging coal fire) - with no UK trick or treat in them days the idea of extending regulations to witches/fairy costumes was not considered,



nboldock 9th Jun 2015		Terrible programme, though it does always remind of a radio parody of it by Victor Lewis-Smith which still makes me crease: Esther (purportedly): "Adrian's found a funny headline in the newspaper haven't you Adrian?" Adrian: "Yes! It says 'Have a fart in b'llcks!'" Esther: "Oh haha! And what should it say, Adrian?" Adrian: "It should say - 'ave 'oliday in Blackpool!" You maybe had to be there



BiggieTembo 8th Jun 2015		Thanks for the info biffbam. I wasn't aware that Rantzen was an alleged schemer-type. Nasty. But my question was rhetorical, and existentialist in nature. Like my earlier: Penelope Keith. Why? I'm sure there'll be more. Like Giles Brandreth. Why? Richard Stilgoe. Why? That bloke out the Goombay Dance Band with blonde curly perm, starey eyes and a self-glad grin. Why?
