TV Series
Notes The series of three series with the name The Betty White Show. This was a daytime talk show with Betty interviews and singing along with other performances by her friends and cast members. One of which was a Black tap dancer named Arthur Duncan. Betty was criticized for having him appear on the show. Her response was simple "I'm sorry. Live with it." She then gave Duncan even more airtime. The show was canceled soon after. The program was nominated for an Emmy for Best Daytime Program but lost to Art Linkletter’s show. Images
