Notes

Several cast members reprised characters from this series in later crossover appearances, including Murphy Brown and St. Elsewhere. The most notable crossover occurred in the finale of the 1982-1990 series Newhart, which revealed the entire series was a dream experienced by Bob Hartley. A reunion TV movie, The Bob Newhart Show 19th Anniversary, followed in 1991, which now only referenced this event, but it revealed that the entirety of I Dream of Jeannie may have been a dream experienced by Howard Borden (whose actor, Bill Daily, had also starred in the earlier sitcom).
