Notes

Based upon the a pulp and radio character created in the 1930s. Although not addressed in the TV series, Britt Reid is in fact a descendent of The Lone Ranger - a character created by the same people who created The Green Hornet.

The series is credited with making Bruce Lee a star, leading to his run of popular martial arts movies in the late 60s and early 70s.

This version of the character exists in the same universe as the 1966-1968 series Batman; Reid and Kato crossed over into the other series for one two-part story, though no characters from Batman ever appeared in Green Hornet (save for the presence of William Dozier as narrator of both shows). Green Hornet was also not formatted as a comedy the way Batman was.
