Notes

Notable for undergoing a last-minute title change, changing the name of the lead character from David Star to Daniel Star (under which the series was originally promoted) and finally to Matthew Star. The pilot episode - in which the lead character is named David Star - aired as the final episode with no explanation given for the change of name.

The series was also notable for featuring an episode directed by Star Trek alumnus Leonard Nimoy prior to his launching his cinematic directing career.
