The format of the programme,which was based on BBC Radio 1 series 25 Years of Rock,was primarily of news clips with narrative subtitles set to music of the time with no presenters or voice-overs.Archive footage of performers,mostly from BBC programmes such as Tpo of the Pops also featured.For instance,the programme on 1965 featured the death of Sir Winston Churchill,The Pennine Way officially opens,set to music by The Beatles,The Rolling Stones and Tom Jones.This show ran for Four Series and there are 34 programmes in total.
