Notes

Redd Foxx died of a heart attack during a rehearsal after taping about a half-dozen episodes and a month after the series debuted (ironically, the series' working title was Chest Pains). After a hiatus it was decided to continue production incorporating the aftermath of Foxx's character into the storyline, but the series was cancelled at the end of the season.
