Notes

Variety show with the hand puppet yellow silent bear Sooty with his magic wand who makes the presenter Matthew and viewers say Izzy wizzy let's get busy and then magic happens and his friends Sweep a squeaking dog and Soo a talking female panda. The show was on the BBC from 1955 till 1967 then it moved to ITV from 1968 till 1992 till Thames lost it's franchise. Harry Corbett was the presenter till 1975 when his son Matthew took over. There was 43 series with 481 episodes.
