Followed by two reunion TV movies: The Wild Wild West Revisited (1979) and More Wild Wild West (1980). Plans for a new series after these films were cancelled when Martin died. Followed in the late 1990s by an unpopular motion picture remake starring Will Smith and Kevin Kline as West and Gordon.
