Notes

A followup to The Tonight Show and Today, this was a (usually) sedate late-night/early morning talk show that aired after the Tonight Show except on Fridays when other shows such as The Midnight Special aired instead.

During its final year on the air, the series was retooled into a variety series and retitled Tomorrow Coast to Coast with Rona Barrett added as co-host). The final new episode of the series aired in late December 1981 but reruns continued into early 1982. The series was cancelled to make way for Late Night with David Letterman after Snyder refused to allow it to be moved to an even later time slot.
