TV Series
Notes This series came about from the combination of two popular series of specials that had been airing on NBC since 1982: TV's Censored Bloopers (hosted by Clark) and Television's Greatest Commercials (hosted by McMahon), while the practical joke segment - wherein a celebrity was pranked in much the same fashion as the later series Punk'd - was spun-off from a one-off Johnny Carson special. After the series was cancelled, Clark continued to produce occasional specials, initially as Super Bloopers and New Practical Jokes and, later, a return to the original title TV's Censored Bloopers. Two attempts at reviving the series for regular broadcast were made with TV Censored Bloopers 98 (1998) and Bloopers (2012-2013). The 2012 series reinstated the practical jokes aspect that was dropped by the 1990s.
