TV Series
Notes One of the biggest disasters in television history. A chat show hosted by Peter Cook in many ways should had been wonderful. However, there is a big difference between being a great witty chat show guest - which Cook clearly was - and a chat show host. Cook insisted on a pilot, but the BBC were so confident they insisted upon a 12 or 13 part series. It was axed after just three editions and the BBC quickly wiped all traces of it, though thankfully offair home audio recordings do survive.
