ady_lister 12th Jan 2021		Vinyl Album Neil Young - A Letter Home (2014)	Added the images. The Clear vinyl 6" 45s include 2 bonus recordings not on the main album. Side M: Blowin' In The Wind (Bob Dylan) and Side N: Crazy (Piano Version) (Willie Nelson). 2nd Version of the Album is a 'Direct Feed From the Booth'. The book at 32 pages has the handwritten lyrics and some great photos of Neil Young with Jack White at the Sessions but is beyond the limit of my endurance for scanning the entire contents.
ady_lister 25th Mar 2020		Vinyl Album The Moody Blues - In Search Of The Lost Chord (2018)	I suspect a quality control issue on this one as seems to be no longer avaialble on the UMC website. Mine has more of an ugly splodge of black rather than the spread out on the advertised image. I thought I might have got unlucky, but the copy posted on Discogs is the same as well. Anyone got this that has a more evenly distributed colour?
ady_lister 19th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album Rod Stewart - Gasoline Alley (1970)	I'd have to argue with the transitional copies that have the first sleeve and the second label. My Dad's copy is the 1st big swirl label but is in the 'smooth' sleeve. So that would be first label 2nd sleeve. So looks like there transitional copies going the other way as well. I asked him and he says he bought it close to release.

I personally wouldn't have ordered it this way and had the bonus acoustic tracks as Sides 3 & 4 and then the Electric set as Sides 5 & 6 to mirror the CD release. But the joy of vinyl is that you can play the sides in any order you want...
ady_lister 29th Mar 2019		Vinyl Album David Crosby / Graham Nash - Wind On The Water (1975)	Bought it sealed (2nd copy) and peeling off the shrink was mildly surprised to find the sticker stuck to the sleeve. My other sealed copy (and most of the others I've seen) have the sticker stuck to the front of the shrink.

Though they seemed to have stickered over the exact same information - at least looking at my copy. Unless there was an earlier pressing that contained an error on those tape cat#s which was then rectified...

The copy I got off my Uncle was bought in the UK and has a UK printed sleeve but a French record with no rights logos on and a different cat# - so does it belong here or the UK entry? A french press export to meet demand for the UK?

I've always thought it was Zed as its an English band, but I kinda think "Doctor Zee" sounds cooler... And does anyone know if Keith Keyes is still with us or has done any interviews about the album?

ady_lister 16th May 2017		Vinyl Album Jerry Colonna - Music For Screaming (1954)	It's a great add nonetheless Redpunk. While I knew that the Groucho songs for this Ace Of Clubs release came from this Decca 10" I'd never found out where the Jerry Colonna songs were from - until now.
