Various Artists - Island 45's
This is a very strange release, the "All available from future releases" on label is a lie of sorts?
A1 1977
A2 1976 SHELTER
A3 1977
A4 1977 STIFF
A5 1975 with a wrong title? Goodbye Love
A6 1976 SHELTER
A7 1977

I would date release around March 1977? Discogs says 1976 for release but this is impossible as the Damned didnt even record Neat Neat Neat until January 1977?

Slim Whitman - Slim Whitman And His Singing Guitar (1954)
This album was a good seller and appears with both gold and silver lettering on the labels. I just noticed the printer date on the uploaded copy is for 1956, the copy I picked up the other day has JU55/10 (1955)

Cab Calloway - Jumpin Jive (1984)
Made in Holland possibly a european release? My front is lighter like the image on the UK issue. Sleeves front/back / inner are all the same as here though.

Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die (1970)
I either have this or had it, as a non gatefold ? The sleeve was textured as well?

Nat Adderley - Work Song (1960)
This is the Mono version, labels also originally available in a white design, with an orange sleeve similar to the other versions we have on here.

The Beatles - A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (1966)
I don't know if this is a thing or not, but picked up a copy at the weekend - a 66 style G&L sleeve housing a double EMI boxed label disc in a EMI inner sleeve that is printed with other similar Best of's from around 1970?

The Tennessee Tooters - The Tennessee Tooters (1968)
Unfortunately the blue blob on the front cover is not part of the design! This is a very rare record label and I suspect some releases may have been of the "99 copies only variety"?

Various Artists - New Orleans Horns (1954)
While tidying up I have found 2 copies of this, earlier copy dated JU.54/1 the sleeve is not laminated, straight cut flaps, brown paper inner which may be home made.
The 2nd copy fully laminated curve flip backs with a plastic inner sleeve,JU.56/5.

Marie Bryant - Don't Touch My Nylons (1960)
I've not heard the 78 so can't compare, I would estimate this album was out in 1959 or 60 judging by some other records with a similar cat#?

Various Artists - Scrapbook Of British Jazz (1962)
I assume this must be a reissue of Decca LK 4139.

Niebiesko-Czarni - Alarm! (1967)
The sleeves for this record are extremely flimsy, hence the tatty condition.

Fats Waller - Fats At The Organ (1954)
Respect to both contributers of the images I have reassembled them into oldest first order and show them all as, the 1954 straight cut sleeve with "Jazz Archive Series" predates the curved inset 1956 sleeve with "Origins of Jazz" labels. (my Jazz archive copy has a slightly earlier date of JU. 54/4 ) - (April 1954).

Various Artists - New Orleans Horns (1954)
Sleeves also exist for the "Origins of Jazz" with a curved type inset flip back sleeve, with "Made in England" "JU. 56 /5" printed unusually upside down. Labels are the dark green similar to Tony P's but with slight differences.

Slim Whitman - Slim Whitman And His Singing Guitar (1956)
With thanks to Caseellbroek I have shuffled the images of the sleeve to the earlier date. I have a JU56/9 as well so have brought the month of release forward to September.

Eric Burdon - The Animals Greatest Hits (1984)
Review
This looks like a straightforward cheapo compilation of Animals tunes, however it turns out to be a strange collection of rerecorded tracks by Eric B, circa early 1980's? There is no information on the sleeve whatsoever.

Magna Carta - Seasons (1970)
Just a note: on my first press, the inner sleeve is a poly lined die cut with the vertigo spiral printed on both sides. Also although the tracks on the A side are listed individually on the labels there is no separation of bands on the disc itself, (A side) its just one continuous track.

Alexandra Hope - Invisible Sunday (2009)
Review
A really excellent album, if you like talented female vocalists & indiepop you should hunt down this record. As far as I can find out Alexandra made this one record and then vanished completely? Practically all the copies of this for sell online are a] really cheap b] mint condition unsold stock. Well worth tracking down.

The Foundations - Digging The Foundations (1969)
For some unknown reason the americans took all the same tracks from the original UK album and severely rearranged the running order.

Muggsy Spanier And His Ragtime Band - The Great 16 (1956)

Louis Armstrong - His Greatest Years (1961)
This album was a big enough seller to be still around when Parlophone changed their label design in early 1963.

Stan Kenton And His Orchestra - Stan Kenton's Milestones (1951)
Capitol [uk] was originally run by Decca at the beginning and then swapped hands to EMI in 1956. Therefore the purple EMI label & sleeve pictured here are post 1956. The black label typesetting is a Decca arrangement so I would guess that is the first press. My copy has a purple label with nearly the same design as the purple one above but made by Decca, my sleeve is Decca printed as well with a printers date of C.P. 56.6 (June 1956) so must be in the last batch before the switch. Its curious how EMI have duplicated Decca's layout instead of using Parlophone or Columbia as a base image?

The Pretty Things - Get The Picture? (1965)
I suspect this 1965 issue was Mono only, the album was reissued again in 1967 in the Netherlands with a different title and Mono/Stereo versions.

Mari Wilson With The Wilsations - Showpeople (1983)
The calender insert as mentioned on the sticker on the sleeve, is a triptych, each side being 10" square, the first 2 sheets is the (picture) calender and the 3rd sheet is an order form for merchandise. When you open it out flat the reverse side is blank.
