Miss Wertmüller, she actually recited her lyrics but you just can't hear them because everybody was wildly happy that this record was over, at last ...So sorry...

Special note of gratitude is due to Federico Fellini, without whose initial collaboration the ball would have never been set rolling.
Thanks are also due to De Laurentiis for inestimable help and understanding.
Thanks are due to also to Mr. Ornato and Mr. Melis of R.C.A. Italy for the kind offer of the two soundtracks «Te lo leggo negli occhi»

This record, which is not to be used commercialy was produced by Luigi Campi, then thanks to him too for the «Loot». The book was printed in a mad hurry by Feliciano Campi at Campi Printing Co. Foligno (Perugia) Italy. Then thanks to Feliciano too.
And thanks to you all, you who may listen to it. If you like it let me know it. If you don't keep quiet. We shall try to do it next year, better and earlier... This time we were too late, as the idea came too late and the days, to conceive create and concot were just too few.
Merry Christmas and happy new year... Mario

Queen - Greatest Hits (1981)
Bohemian Rhapsody
By Freddie Mercury. From "A Night At The Opera".
Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen.
Released in October 1975. Queen's biggest seller ever in Britain when it topped the charts for a record breaking 9 weeks. The single and the album performed similarly in almost every major record market propelling the group to truly international stardom. The multi-tracked vocal and guitar technique became a trade mark of Queen often emulated by others, but never quite equalled.
Another One Bites The Dust
By Joe Deacon. Produced by Queen and Mack. Released from "The Game" album in August 1980 in response to overwhelming demand from black-orientated radio stations in the U.S.A. where it zoomed No. 1.
It stayed there for 5 weeks and is to this time Queen's biggest ever world-wide seller. No. 1 also in Canada, Guatemala, Argentina and Spain.
Killer Queen
By Freddie Mercury. Released simultaneously with "Sheer Heart Attack"album in October 1974.
Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen.
Represents the band's first big breakthrough in the singles charts of Britain, Germany, Japan, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Holland and Belgium.
Fat Bottomed Girls
By Brian May. Produced by Queen and Roy Thomas Baker. From the album "Jazz".
Released as double 'A' with "Bicycle Race". Released October 1978.
Album sleeve design illustrating the girls in the race met with some opposition from feminists.
Bicycle Race
By Freddie Mercury. From "Jazz". Produced by Queen and Roy Thomas Baker. The team re-united for this first ever "European-flavoured" album.
Recorded in Montreux and South France. Released October 1978 as a double 'A' single with "Fat Bottomed Girls".
You're My Best Friend
By John Deacon. Only his second song for the group bu a world-wide hit. Second single from "A Night At The Opera".
Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen. Released in May 1976. Features John on electric piano.
Don't Stop Me Now
By Freddie Mercury. Produced by Queen and Roy Thomas Baker.
Released June 1979 when it became a second hit from "Jazz" album.
Save Me
By Brian May. Second single from "The Game". Produced by Queen and Mack. Released in January 1980.
An echo of the more traditional "Queen sound" from earlier years. The song represents an emotional side of Queen not often heard by singles buyers.
It was a hit in Britain, Japan and much of Europe though not released in the U.S.A.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love
By Freddie Mercury. From "The Game" album. Produced by Queen and Mack.
The result of a totally fresh recording environment in Munich, the single was released in October 1979 well in advance of the album.
Became a No. 1 across the board in the U.S.A. A number one hit also in Australia (for 7 weeks), Canada, New Zealand, Holland and Mexico.
A big seller in most of Europe. Composed in a bubble bath at The Munich Hilton.
Somebody To Love
By Freddie Mercury. Released in November 1976 simultaneously with the album "A Day At The Races". Produced by Queen.
A good example of Queen's complex vocal arrangements, this time in a gospel style.
The choir effect produced by multi-tracking the voices of Freddie, Roger and Brian.
Now I'm Here
By Brian May. Released January 1975 as a second single from "Sheer Heart Attack" album.
Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen. Inspired by Queen's memorable first tour of Britain and the U.S.A.
Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy
By Freddie Mercury. Released on Queen's first E.P. in May 1977 but originally on "A Day At The Races" produced by Queen.
The E.P. contained one track from each of Queen's first four albums.
Play The Game
By Freddie Mercury. From "The Game" album. Produced by Queen and Mack. Released in May 1980.
The first Queen single ever to feature a synthesizer. A Hit in Britain and most European territories and the U.S.A.
Flash
By Brian May. From the album "Flash Gordon".
Queen's first movie soundtrack venture, released November 1980. Produced by May amd Mack.
The film topped the ratings lists for many weeks in the U.K. and many European countries bringing Queen's music to a new audience.
Seven Seas Of Rhye
By Freddie Mercury. From "Queen II" album. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen.
A 'taster' of the song appeared on the group's debut album "Queen" (1973) but the full version was Queen's first British chart entry in February 1974.
We Will Rock You
By Brian May. Produced by Queen assisted by Mike Stone. Released in Europe as the 'B' side of "We Are The Champions".
Became No. 1 in it's own right for 6 weeks in France and, as a double 'A' side with "Champions" became No. 1 in the U.S.A.
We Are The Champions
By Freddie Mercury. From the album "News Of The World" and released in October 1977.
Produced by Queen assisted by Mike Stone. The song was adopted as an anthem by many famous baseball and soccer teams throughout the world.
