goodbear66 ● 19th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Turtles - Present The Battle Of The Bands (1968) | Doubtful that the UK Stereo and Mono issues were produced in gatefold sleeves. Mono entry just added (and no gatefold sleeve). Gatefold images here are most probably US sourced?
goodbear66 ● 19th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumTimi Yuro - Let Me Call You Sweetheart (1965) | New addition - there seems to be more than some uncertainty as to the release date. Opted for 1965 to coincide with the date on the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve (12/65)...
goodbear66 ● 19th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Who - Odds & Sods (1974) | My copy came with a gatefold poster incorporating the Peter Townsend Notes with the poster picture, and inside all the lyrics (see scans).
goodbear66 ● 19th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Tremeloes - Here Come The Tremeloes (1967) | Added a complete set of scans including an alternative Front Cover from the UK first pressing - Mrgobby's original scan looks a little strange (no Cat No top left and reduced track listing top right) - is it a UK pressing or something different?
goodbear66 ● 19th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumTraffic - John Barleycorn Must Die (1970) | Added alternative "i" labels with Traffic symbol.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Kinks - Something Else By The Kinks (1967) | With respect to the three scans by 78rpm-maniac, refreshed images with clearer scans.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumCliff Richard - 21 Today (1961) | Added later issue alternative scans. Rear sleeve has a sticker (top middle) "Original Clear-Top The Ultimate Sound!". Hard to say if this is alien or an EMI "warranty" of the time.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumSimon And Garfunkel - Wednesday Morning 3 A.M. (1968) | Added standard Stereo Front/Rear covers. kab2112 - just wondering if your cover images are the Mono ones used for very early stereo releases?
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumSpooky Tooth - Spooky Two (1969) | Added island "i" labels which came with the Olive Green coloured gatefold.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumRingo Starr - Bad Boy (1978) | Stock Copy images added.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumSteely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill (1973) | Added alternative and probably earlier pressing pink Probe labels.
goodbear66 ● 18th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumHerman's Hermits - Herman's Hermits (1965) | Missing images added.
goodbear66 ● 16th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumSpencer Davis Group - Traffic (1968) | YankeeDisc: albeit 5 years later, ULP 1186 now entered including label scans (but it has not been sitting in my collection that long, only recently acquired).
goodbear66 ● 15th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumAlan Price - O Lucky Man! (1973) | [YouTube Video]
goodbear66 ● 15th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumDonovan - What's Bin Did And What's Bin Hid (1965) | Stereo album added which sees an alternative whole pink coloured Pye label with different layout and composer detail (in part) to the Mono version entry which is the pink/black Pye header version.
goodbear66 ● 14th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumFree - Free At Last (1972) | Later pressing A/B scans added - Travelling Man listed on disc but Travellin' Man per Side 1 Rear Sleeve listing (on both issues).
goodbear66 ● 14th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Jeff Beck Group - Cosa Nostra Beck-Ola (1969) | Stereo scans added - Labels have "Sold in UK....." text but am unable to confirm if there was an earlier pressing and format. Those shown are presumed to be from November 1969 (6911 on bottom of rear sleeve), two months after release and roughly coincides with EMI dropping the aforementioned text.
goodbear66 ● 14th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumKeef Hartley Band - Overdog (1971) | Added all outstanding images.
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumKeef Hartley Band - The Battle Of North West Six (1969) | Missing info added. Sleeve design was by Keef Hartley, Artwork was by (the) Art Wood.
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Artwoods - Art Gallery (1966) | Rear Cover added - no crayon - slight damage but mainly legible.
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumBillie Davis - Billie Davis (1970) | First label scans uploaded.
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumChicken Shack - Imagination Lady (1971) | Later red/white Deram pressing added.
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumJohn Mayall - Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968) | Added Front and Rear Covers and labels of the 1st pressing. Front cover sees larger Decca top right with Mayall walking away on Rear with Stereo Cat No. and no red/blue colour option circle. Unboxed.labels. Inner gatefold appears unaltered. (Was present to see John Mayall showcase the album in concert at Birmingham Town Hall in February 1969).
goodbear66 ● 13th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumManfred Mann - Mann Made (1965) | Label images added, album imported into Switzerland and sold by Musik Ammann, Basel back in the day.
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Hollies - For Certain Because... (1966) | New addition but unable to upload Cover Scans. The reason for this is that in my experience many Parlophone albums in particular were imported from the UK for retail sale in Switzerland in the 60s. This one was sold at "boite à musique" and had been packaged inside the Mono gatefold sleeve!
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Allman Brothers Band - Brothers And Sisters (1973) | Added all the images - this album is acknowledged to be a massive seller but it must have sold at an amazing pace as this German release was bought retail by gb66 in Birmingham (UK) City Centre soon after release (presumably as an "import" to satisfy demand).
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Hollies - Would You Believe? (1966) | First images all added.
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Hollies - In The Hollies Style (1964) | Added missing label scans.
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Hollies - Hollies' Greatest (1968) | Missing Rear Sleeve scan added. BEATLEJOHN, checked both the 45 and this Mono pressing - they are the same versions and the only minimal difference (if at all) is that the album appears to play through a tad crisper on the ear....
goodbear66 ● 12th Nov 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Amen Corner - Round Amen Corner (1968) | No knowledge if a Mono Version exists - this is royal sound Stereo. Some anomalies exist with the German issue. The label specifies The Amen Corner and the track listings on Sides 1 and 2 are grouped differently to the UK issues. The sleeve notes are the same as shown on the UK albums. Lastly, the record was purchased new in Switzerland by the then and only previous owner to myself which may explain the dual language references to trade sample use per labels.
