Matrix Side 1 (image 1037593) = ILP12049A-1T (machine stamped) and E and KT and I (hand etched). Matrix Side 2 (image 1037594) = ILP12049B-1T (machine stamped) and A and KT (hand etched).

gregs45s SUBS 15th Apr 2016		Vinyl Album Gil Scott-Heron, Brian Jackson And The Midnight Band - The First Minute Of A New Day (1975)	Same as previous entry,this time,just 1 plain white labelled LP (side 1),with 5 tracks one side and a continuous tone (1 track) on the other. Matrix (5 track side) = ARTY 106 A-1U and 1 and G (and symbol) (machine stamped). Matrix ("tone"side) = LPFB 2 and 2 and 2 07 (machine stamped).
gregs45s SUBS 15th Apr 2016		Vinyl Album The Brecker Brothers - The Brecker Brothers (1975)	Curio,a couple of plain white label LP's in a plain white inner sleeve (no outer sleeve),4 tracks on one side and a continuous tone on the other (1 track),only the matrix to go by here (Arty 103),so have put it under "promo" to keep it separate from the stock Arty 103 (when entered). Matrix (4-track side) = ARTY 103 A-2U and I and G (and symbol)(machine stamped). Matrix ("tone" side) = LPFB 2 and 2 and 213 (machine stamped). Three are two copies of side 1 of the LP,no side 2 (which i believe had 5 tracks),both have exactly the same tracks and matrix,with no discernible difference (although all tracks are instrumental,jazz/funk).

gregs45s SUBS 17th Feb 2016		Vinyl Album The Rolling Stones - Some Girls (1978)	@burleigh.Hi,this one gets complicated,as far as i can tell there are about 8(?) variants of this sleeve,and a couple of sites say that the pastel couloured banded sleeves were earlier than the dark couloured banded one's here(both with uncensored inner sleeves)(both 1978?).I've also seen "Some Girls"(on the front)in red text and some in blue text.Personally i am not sure about this one,perhaps a Stones fan could assist?.Looking at my scans ,they did not come out too well on this one,image 525093 should look like the UK 1986 cover below in the links,i.e 4 pale pastel bands (not white).Scuza,Incerto :)

gregs45s SUBS 24th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue (2016)	Rest of leaflets added.I've been able to listen to this again today,this time through speakers instead of phones,and although there has been slight improvement,i'd still have to say that the recording overall lacks mid-range/bass depth,and is consequently "thin" and quiet,it would be interesting to hear other peoples comments on the sound quality,of course,this is only the first issue,and they may well improve as they go along,but at £14.99 full price,you'd want them to sound half-way decent.It says in the blurb..."Where possible we have gone back to the master tapes and re-released the albums on 180-gram virgin vinyl,thereby ensuring faithful sound quality and conveying all the original spirit and vitality of some of the best music ever recorded!".I hope it does improve,as this series may well be somebody's first foray into vinyl or Jazz,or both,and it would be a shame if the sound quality isn't all that it promises to be.Time will tell;)
