jaimeeduardo 31st Jan 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumTeresa Berganza - Teresa Berganza Sings Mozart (1968) | Disc title from container.
Recordings are ℗1963.
Interesting that Berganza indicates no vocal range following her name, the norm for singers of classical music. Here she sings works for soprano and mezzo-soprano; to me, the sound is that of a mezzo.

Interesting here is a track in Streich's native Russian. She seems to have recorded/performed very little in that language. (She was considered a German soprano).

jaimeeduardo 29th Jan 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumMario Del Monaco, Magda Olivero - Francesca Da Rimini–Excerpts (1970) | Title on container: 3 Great Scenes.
Soprano Magda Olivero's appearance on this disc was a surprise. She was a singer from decades earlier. The liner notes mention these two singers appearing in a 1959 revival of the opera at La Scala. They are the handsome couple in costume on the back cover.
Performer credits are taken from the container. Somewhat odd is the listing of the name of tenor Mario Del Monaco first, since the title character is the soprano. As is the case for some of the operas on LP, the disc labels show cast in order of appearance. This results in minor characters being listed first, etc.
Container suggests pub. date of 1969; Library of Congress gives 1970.

This recording was Callas' second complete commercial recording of Tosca, the first being in 1953.
